Neighbourhood shopping centre to rent in Skerries
Irish Times Commercial Property Section, Wednesday 20th October, 2004.

Hamilton Osborne King has begun marketing the proposed neighbourhood shopping centre at Kelly’s Bay in Skerries.

The 2,705m2 (29,116ft2) facility will include a 1,400m2 (15,069ft2) supermarket, eight retail units, two restaurants, a medical centre, offices, bar and a detached crèche along with 140 car-parking spaces.

The development designed by Anthony Reddy Associates will be located beside Kelly’s Bay residential development and will be located along the new Skerries to Balbriggan road. The developer is Markland Holdings who’s managing director Aidan Scully, say they hope to deliver the complex next autumn.

The centre will be built to a high standard, according to the agents, with retail units on the ground floor and a mixture of offices, medical facilities and restaurants overhead. A 3-storey public bar will have superb views over the bay.
