New Housing - New Solutions: RIAI Exhibition
on Housing Design 2005
Anthony Reddy Associates participated in the recent RIAI
exhibition on Housing Design, Masterplanning and Town Extensions
aimed at promoting new ideas and informing debate on new layouts
and on individual house type designs.
Irish Architecture Awards, 2004
The refurbishment of Anthony Reddy Associates' own offices at Dartry
Mills in South Dublin were selected for Exhibition in the Irish
Architecture Awards, 2004.

Mayor
St. , Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC), Dublin 1
This Residential & Retail development is located at Mayor
St. to the East of the Financial Service Centre and within
the Dublin Docklands Development Area.
It comprises 273 apartments over retail units
at street level, arranged in 14 separate blocks. Full basement
carpark provides 238 spaces.
The basic aim of the design was to ensure that there are only
a maximum of 4 apartments per floor served by their own lift
and stair. Each apartment receives southern sunlight or at
least east-west light. |

Winner
Fit-out: Bord Gais Eireann Headquarters , Foley Street
This new 5-storey office building in central
Dublin has provided Bord Gais Eireann with the opportunity
to launch a flagship office environment that reflects their
change in culture, attitudes and approach towards staff, business
and customers.
Embracing the concept of the office as hotel,
different sizes and types of accommodation are provided which
are available to staff on the basis of need rather than hierarchy.

Major
Award for one of Europe's most prestigious urban renewal projects:
The
Royal Town Planning Institute Regeneration and Renewal Award for
Planning or City Regeneration has been awarded for the 'Old City'
development in Temple Bar's West End. The award goes to Dublin City
Council and Temple Bar Properties, together with the architectural
firms Anthony Reddy Associates, Burke Kennedy Doyle,
de Blacam & Meagher, McGarry ni Eanaigh and 'Dowd O'Herlihy
Horan.

Office space for decentralised Government Departments
The building consists of 6,000m² of office space housing
seven Government departments. The site is located on the north-eastern
boundary of the city.
The architectural solution to the brief is a courtyard type building
which accommodated the various departments on three levels around
a central sculptured garden. |
