Anthony Reddy Associates, one of the country’s largest architectural firms, has announced a range of senior executive appointments.
The appointments were announced at a reception to mark the 25th anniversary of the firm at the National Gallery in Dublin yesterday evening. The reception was opened by Minister for Transport and the Marine, Noel Dempsey.
They include:
The appointment of Robert Keane as a Director of Anthony Reddy Associates Dublin. Robert joined the firm in 1997 and was responsible for the Masterplan of the Heuston South Quarter Project; the HQ office for Mason Hayes Curran; and apartment developments at Newmarket, Palmerstown and Sir John Rogersons Quay.
The appointment of Anne Kiernan as Associate Director of Anthony Reddy Associates Dublin. Anne joined the firm in 2004 and was responsible for the MacDonagh Junction project in Kilkenny; and the new OPW Government offices in Trim.
The appointment of John Crawford as Director in Anthony Reddy Associates’ Sligo office. John joined the firm in 2001and has been the project architect for the Ardmore Hotel and Prospect Hill Residential scheme at Finglas; The Hilton Hotel at Kilmainham; and is involved in a wide range of mixed use projects including the NUI Galway Masterplan.
The appointment of Terence McCaw as an Associate Director at Anthony Reddy Associates’ Belfast office. Terence has been involved at a senior level for over 25years in both private practice and at the Planning Appeals Commission since 2002.
The appointment of Michael Ahern as Finance Director. Michael is a Chartered Accountant and has held senior positions across a broad range of industries both in PLC and owner managed environments. Most recently Michael has worked in Construction and Property Development businesses
Speaking at the "Celebration of Work" event at the National Gallery, Anthony Reddy said: "Our Staff have been a vital part of our success over the past quarter of a century. From first joining us many have matured into highly skilled professionals while others have brought their significantly wide ranging skills to enhance our practice. I have no doubt that each will make a significant contribution to the success of the practice in future years."
Anthony Reddy is a Director of the Academy of Urbanism, founder member of the Urban Forum and former President of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and the Architectural Association of Ireland. The firm employs 240 staff at five offices in Dublin, Belfast, Sligo, Cork and Kilkenny.
